FAQ
Question: How do I know how much water I am injecting in the ground?
Answer:
You can use one of two methods: (1) attach the Water Watch Water Meter to the Root Feeder to measure the total water used or (2) time how long you leave the Root Feeder in for each insertion. If you use the second method, you will first need to determine how many gallons per minute are flowing through the Root Feeder by using the following formula:
To Calculate Your Gallons Per Minute (GPM):
1. Insert Probe into a one-gallon bucket.
2. Turn water on.
3. Time the number of seconds to fill the bucket.
4. Divide 60 by the number of seconds, this equals GPM.
