FAQ
Question: How many insertions should I make around the plant?
Answer:The number of insertions varies, depending on many factors, such as soil type, water pressure and volume, type of plant, and moisture content of the soil. Most generally, only one insertion is necessary for small annuals, perennials, and vegetables. For larger flowers and vegetables, use two insertions. Use three insertions for small to medium shrubs and trees. For larger trees and shrubs, insertions should be made approximately every 3'-5' around the drip line. It is usually better to make close insertions with short durations of injection time than to make the insertions far apart with long injection times. This will spread the water and product around more evenly in the root zone.
