Question: When using dry/water-soluble fertilizer, how do I know when it is time to refill the bottle?
Answer:Dry/water-soluble fertilizer will settle to the bottom of the bottle. A small stream of water will mix up the fertilizer on the top and the mixture will be drawn out through the feeder hole. When the color of the water begins to lighten, it is time to refill the bottle. Remember to remove the straw/diptube and turn the dial to the Dry/Granular Setting. HINT: After filling the bottle with fertilizer, fill to the top with water before reinstalling the feeder top. See G-10 Useful Tips.
