Question: Can I use a Systemic Insecticide that has a thick viscosity with the G-10 & Root Feeder?
Answer:Yes. Most systemic insecticides, like the Bayer Advanced Tree & Shrub Insect Control, are thick and call for a very rich mixture of product to water. The best way to use these products would be to leave the straw/diptube installed in the G-10 cap and dial the Dry/Granular Setting. This will draw the thicker product out faster. This method works very well with systemic insecticides. The amount being dispensed will vary, based on the thickness of the product and your water pressure. You should run some tests to see exactly how much product you are dispensing.
