Question: When I turn on the water faucet, some water leaks out of the two little slots between the yellow hose swivel connection and the water shut-off valve handle.
Answer:It is normal for a little water to come out of these slots for a few seconds after you turn on the water. This is part of the built-in backflow protection device. If a lot of water continues to come out of these slots, the backflow device is defective and needs replaced. If this is the case, send an email to parts[at]rootfeed.com for a free replacement backflow device.
