FAQ

Question: What do I do if water shoots up out of the ground around the probe?

Answer:

This happens from time to time, depending on your soil type and how much the soil is compacted. You can change the depth of the probe, turn down the water control valve, rotate the Root Feeder in a different direction, or re-insert the probe in a different area. You will find that each time you root feed, the water flowing from the probe jets will loosen and aerate the soil. Sometimes, you may see water coming out of a hole several feet away from where you have the probe inserted. This is due to the tunneling and aeration effects caused by root feeding. This tells you that your Root Feeder is doing its job.
