FAQ

Question: What does it mean when an insecticide is “systemic”?

Answer:

A “systemic” insecticide needs to be applied to the roots of your plants or trees. The root system caries the insecticide up into the plant and works from the inside out. The Root Feeder used with the optional G-10 Combination Garden Feeder, is very effective in putting the systemic insecticide exactly where it is needed – directly in the root zone. Some systemic insecticides work for up to 12 months. Systemic insecticides work very well for boring insects. Bayer Advanced has several systemic insecticides, some of which include fertilizer and fungicides.
